CodeLynx Is Growing

North Charleston, SC- July 15th, 2016– We’re pleased to announce that CodeLynx has added on six talented and driven members to our team. We’ve hired two new Electronic Technicians, Jesse Recinos and Thomas Heatley. They play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining our Electronic Security and Audio Visual systems. Along with our two Electronic Technicians, we have hired Josh DeGeorge, our Customer Service Representative and Eric Williams who is now a Senior A/V Tech. Lastly, Amber Kemp, Marketing Associate, and Justin Lock, UI/UX Engineer, have also started at CodeLynx this month.

After 14 years as a successful TV weatherman, Justin Lock, our UI/UX Engineer, found a new passion in web development/computer programming. He’s a recent graduate of The Iron Yard in Charleston where he studied front-end web engineering. Along with his studies in front-end web engineering, Justin has a degree in Atmospheric Science. You’ve probably seen Justin on the morning news on CBS channel 5. When he’s not programming, you can find him on the beach surfing, golfing, or playing soccer.

“CodeLynx interested me because they have very talented people working on some really cool projects. Plus it was an opportunity for me to quickly grow as a developer and learn from some of the best in the industry. Here I will have the chance to build some really great applications to help make people’s lives better!”

The UI/UX Engineer position requires Justin to focus on the user experience to make software applications easy and intuitive to use. He will be contributing to our software engineering team by helping to develop commercial, government, and nonprofit software applications. Also, his front-end development background will be used to help design the user interface and user experience on different projects.

Amber Kemp, a recent College of Charleston grad, has assumed the role as the Marketing Associate. One of the first to graduate at College of Charleston as Marketing major she also minored in Communications. During her interim at College of Charleston, she interned for various non-profit organizations such as Historic Charleston Foundation and MUSC Children’s Hospital. Before joining CodeLynx, Amber worked as a Business Administrator at Coastlend Mortgage. Originally from New York, Amber has a go getter attitude and is always ready for a challenge.

As the Marketing Associate, Amber will be helping with the preparation and execution of events, spearheading our social media campaigns, and assisting in any and all marketing projects at CodeLynx.

Our five new team members will help in the continuous growth of CodeLynx. If you’re interested in joining a dynamic and growing company with a group of dedicated employees you can apply here.
